Syrian GMO x Syrian GMO

The original GMO x Syrian cross was never released. I performed a small single-plant pollination using collected pollen saved from our Syrian project. This pollen was used on our GMO mother plant, which is one of my favorite strains on the market today. Everything about her, from the strong, pleasant body high to the funky profile and resin yields, definitely earns her a place in the history books. However, after several projects with her, I've found that she doesn't always excel in F1s as she did here.

The pollen used in the F1s was a blend of several of the best sativa-dominant Syrian males. I grew a whole tray of F1s, and out of about 30 females, I couldn't find the GMO profile I was so desperately seeking. Most were dominated by the Syrian heritage and had a very intense sweet berry and citrus profile that permeated all GMOs. However, I did find one female that had a hashy, musky undertone beneath the citrus, which was used to produce the F2s.

All are sativa hybrids in structure, very stocky and self-supporting. They are not resin-deficient, as both the Syrian and GMO strains produce abundant resin. The Syrian GMO offers a very potent, uplifting effect and flowers in 10-12 weeks.

I pollinated the selected female with the most productive male from the group. He exhibited solid, densely packed pollen capsules covered in resin and exhibited a perfect hybrid structure. I hope to find recessive GMO dominance in the F2s.

While predominantly Type I, some plants may have elevated levels of CBD, CBDV, and THCV, as many of the Syrian plants were rich in all three, although this was not the primary goal of the project.
