Hard Soda x Double Durban 1:1 THCV
I reviewed another cross from The Ranch called Hard Soda; he crossed the Chem D-Cut with a Rootbeer Bc2 male he selected from Mean Gene's stock. In case you don't know, Rootbeer is Headband x (Hollywood Pure Kush x (Hindu x Black Affie)). The Bc2 is Rootbeer x (Rootbeer x (Rootbeer x Jaro)). I personally love the Chem D-Funk, which is why GMO is so dear to my heart. But this cross wasn't quite as funky as I hoped, leaning more toward the chemical-gas side. Nevertheless, it made up for it with its potent smoke... a clear, energized euphoria in the mind, with a very pleasant, relaxing body effect. I was left with a beautiful, high-yielding female plant with medium-sized, dense buds. I haven't had a chance to grow it outdoors, but I think it would excel based on what I hear about Rootbeer. I planted several in the greenhouse to be pollinated with our Double Durban Reversal. It should become a beautiful, potent hybrid with added THCV and a mix of the old-fashioned gassy chem and the peppery pine of the Durban.
